Everchanging mood

Somedays I feel hot Somedays I feel not Somedays I think my face is so pretty other days I think my chin looks huge and I should get liposuccion on it. Or a face lift to lift my drooping eyelids. Or laser hair removal to get rid of that ugly beard that I was damned with. Or fake tan sessions to make my tone a bit more golden. I m so yellowish white it s disgusting. Somedays I think big noses are a strong trait of character and that it makes me look smart. Other days I think it hides all the goodness in me Some days I want to get back to my old skinny self and just chop off that expanging bulge I call a belly. I really want to hurt myself because i feel ugly and I don t even deserve to go out in public. Some days I think my curves finally make me fit into the woman kind. I used to feel left out when other girls complained about their weight. I couldn t relate and wish I could. Anything to be like everybody else. I felt guilty to be skinny. I felt ugly to be skinny. And now I ! want those bones to stick out again. I want my flat belly I want the skinny arms. Some days I love and admire my husband. Other days this little voice that s been there since day tells me he s not the right guy for me. Then I shut it up. Leaving him is not an option now. So shut up turn up the music and think of other things. It always goes away. Some days I think my husband looks so hot. Otherdays he repugnates me and I think his breath stinks so much. He should stop wearing that stupid beige Ramones t shirt it s so not flattering. It s a ridiculous shirt I hate it. Makes his belly stick out makes him look like a beer bottle no shoulders god I hate that shirt. It s so not cool. Some days I can t get enough of my son and I love being a mom. Other days I look forward to being alone SO much and I dream of those days before I was a mom. That makes me feel so guilty. I really need to be more patient with him. Some days I find my boss so ordinary bland and boring. Other days he ! is the world to me an example a real man so intelligent and radiant. I would then do anything for him. Anything. Some days I despise men for being jerks. For never finding me attractive enough when I was younger. Too skinny too hairy too stupid. Other days I really feel sexual towards men at my work and fantasize about having sex with them. Even a serious relationship. Then my trucker husband calls and I start loving him again. I love my husband when he s away. I hate it when he s home because I am scared of him. Scared of his nagging. Scared that if I say something I shouldn t that it s gonna cause a fight. Scared that if I really pursue it during that fight that he will hit me or make a scene in front of Ian. I can t let that happen. It scares me when Ian says that his dad is the boss. Some days I m so active and just love being busy I can t get enough stuff to do. Other days I m a lazy bitch and I just think of sleeping. I hate everybody my husband mostly for making me feel so miserable so often for those past years and I could sleep all da! y. Literally. My brain is foggy and cloudy then. no matter how sunny it is outside or how happy people are it s rainy and cloudy my hair frizzes and my double chin sticks out. Sometimes I think my clothes look so nice and that I have style. Other days I look at my clothes and really feel stupid for thinking a big bellied kunt like me can actually look good in anything. My clothes always look wrinkled with cat hairs on them. I m never sharp or never look like I can afford a good outfit. Somedays I want to be a business woman. I feel hot in my suit with my freshly washed hair freshly straightened as I walk towards work and some wind brushes my skin and hair. High heels on I m Da Bomb. I think of getting my tattoos removed I only want to wear subtle gold jewerly I dream of those days when I ll be rich and drive in a BMW. A black one like my boss well his is dark blue but damn it s fine . Other days I want to look like a bum I feel punkrock and show my tattoos I burp loud i lik! e to throw my dirty feet in thong sandals with too long jeans that shred at the bottom from walking on them. I like my black bra to show under my shirts i like to look dirty. I feel dirty. Who am I actually by karine on April . Hillary In 1995 Screw Em

Sam Stein at the Huffington Post finds Hillary s recent criticism of Barack Obama for his elitist comments a bit hypocritical During the past week Sen. Hillary Clinton has presented herself as a working class populist the politician in touch with small town sentiments compared to the elitism of her opponent Sen. Barack Obama . But a telling anecdote from her husband s administration shows Hillary Clinton s attitudes about the lunch bucket Democrats are not exactly pristine. In January as the Clintons were licking their wounds from the congressional elections a debate emerged at a retreat at Camp David. Should the administration make overtures to working class white southerners who had all but forsaken the Democratic Party The then first lady took a less than inclusive approach. Screw em she told her husband. You don t owe them a thing Bill. They re doing nothing for you you don t have to do anything for them. The statement which author Benjamin Barber witnessed and wrote abo! ut in his book The Truth of Power Intellectual Affairs in the Clinton White House was prompted by another speaker raising the difficulties of reaching Reagan Democrats. It stands in stark contrast to the attitude the New York Democrat has recently taken on the campaign trail in which she has presented herself as the one candidate who understands the working class needs. I don t think Obama really gets it that people are looking for a president who stands up for you and not looks down on you she said this week. This highlights the conflict that runs through Hillary s political career. She is at her core a leftist. She believes in the power of government to solve any conceivable problem and believes it with a deep moral convictions that it is not only good but right and necessary her Christian duty. But she while she does not have the instinct for compromise that her husband does and her political personality is combative and confrontational she is aware of the need to appear! moderate and practical. So behind the scenes in the White House she was always pulling Bill left and creating a war room mentality where she picked out an enemy and attacked with everything she had she also eventually had to face reality and compromise on something. Hence she opposed almost every centrist policy Bill agreed to balancing the budget NAFTA welfare reform deregulation etc. But political reality intruded and she eventually signed off in order to keep Bill politically viable. And in her own independent career she has the record of a reliable across the board liberal. But she realized that she would need to at least appear to be a centrist on some issues to be politically palatable to a broad range of voters. The one most consistent area where she developed this reputation was foreign affairs. She was to be the liberal hawk who wasn t afraid to use force but who would bring a realism that was lacking in the Bush administration. This went along well until the changing nature of opinion on the war in Iraq tripped her up. On domestic i! ssues however the rabid nature of the Democratic base continued to anchor Hillary to liberal positions. A few times she tired to moderate her rhetoric on abortion or other hot button issues but her positions remained extreme she has never supported a single policy aimed at reducing abortions or encroaching on the right to choose in any way . Each time the left complained loudly and she soon returned to her angry and conspiratorial rhetoric. She honestly believes there is a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy and they are out to get her. She takes things personally and she has a temper. When she is challenged she is stubborn and tends to lash out. Given her history the quote and exchange noted above is perfectly consistent with Hillary s personality and style. Democratic voters would be foolish to trust her and her promises. The one things we know about the Clintons is that when push comes to shove the only thing they care about is themselves. No user responded in Hillary In Screw Em! Green Bay Packers NFL quarterback Brett Favre has bid an emotional goodbye to the NFL making it clear he had no second thoughts about his decision to retire. Two days after informing the Packers he would not be back for an th season Favre met with the media at Lambeau Field and within seconds of stepping to the podium was waging a losing battle to hold back the tears. As they say all good things must come to an end I look forward to whatever the future may hold for me the year old told a televised news conference his voice cracking. It s been a great career it s over. I ve given everything I possibly can give to this organisation to the game of football and I don t think I ve anything left to give. I know I can play but I don t think I want to. I d like to thank the Packers for giving me the opportunity. I hope that every penny they spent on me they know was money well spent. Few would argue that Packers fans did not receive full value during a dazzling year career that saw ! Favre rewrite the NFL record book. The only player in NFL history to win three MVP awards Favre exits with every meaningful quarterback record including marks for most touchdown passes passing yards and pass completions . For all his records honours and accomplishments including leading the Packers to victory in the Super Bowl Favre is likely to be best remembered as a man who played the game like a boy. Favre s unbridled passion boyish enthusiasm and fierce competitiveness awed team mates opponents and fans as much as his cannon right arm. But Favre s most amazing feat and one many believe will never be broken is his quarterback ironman record of consecutive regular season starts and including play off contests. Favre offered no hints of what the future might hold for one of the NFL s all time greats though it is bound to include a visit to Canton Ohio for an induction into the Hall of Fame. As time passes I do not know what I will do Favre said. People say do you have a p! lan No I don t. This is all I ve ever done. I m proud of the fact I ve done it this long and at a high level. This is a new phase in my life and I don t exactly know what that means but it s been a pretty good ride. Fridays Pub Crawl

Stuttgart Fest Weekend Hashers I will be setting the Pub Crawl on Friday Night the th. We ll meet at the registration venue have a beer or two and head out on the pub crawl at . Don t be late or you will miss the Pub Crawl. The venue will be open at so stop by register get your goodie bag and drink a few. You will be able to leave your bags at the venue and we ll return later much later and drunker that night to the same venue for the circle. The Pub Crawl will be in downtown Stuttgart more towards Stuttgart West like last year and will involve a number of Pubs and a shot stop. Since we ll be inside and outside please check the weather and dress appropriately. A drink or two will come with each stop but bring some euro s for anything else you might want. It is a pub crawl but it is also a hash so there will be chalk talk flour trail stops beers FRB s DFL s and a circle. Be prepared to run walk and stagger several miles over the night.
